Our Mission

To see the truth, hope, and freedom of Christ permeate our neighborhoods, city, and world.

Who We Are

The rooster reminds us that redemption often begins in the places we would rather forget.

In John 18, a rooster crowed as Peter confronted his own failure. But in John 21, Jesus returned to Peter, restored him, and gave him a new purpose.

Like Peter, our stories are marked by both brokenness and grace. The ordinary things that remind us of our past are not beyond the r’ redeeming work. He meets us in our failures, restores what is broken, and calls us to something greater.

We seek to see the truth, hope, and freedom of Christ permeate our neighborhoods, city, and world. We believe redemption is not just something we proclaim, but it is something Jesus works into every corner of our lives, our community, and our story.

Meet Clay

Clay Warden, Pastor

Clay was born and raised in Madison, Alabama, and came to know the Lord through the faithful care and love of small group leaders at the church he attended throughout high school. They gave him space to be himself—to doubt, ask questions, and come to faith in Jesus in his own time. Simply put, they lived out what it means to be the Church.

He met his wife, Lindsay, at Mississippi State University, where he studied Secondary Education and she studied Special Education. During his college years, while serving in the local church, Clay sensed a growing call to pastoral ministry.

He followed that call by serving as the Youth and Children’s Director at a church in Starkville for four years before attending Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. After seminary, he accepted a call to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, where he served as the Youth and Men’s Minister for seven years before planting Commonwealth Presbyterian Church out of Trinity with the Tidewater Presbytery.
